Alan J. Garber, MD, PhD, FACE

Endocrinologist

Alan J. Garber, MD, PhD, FACE, graduated from Temple University, Philadelphia, in 1968, completed a PhD in Physiological Chemistry in 1971, and a residency in Internal Medicine. Subsequently, he was a fellow in Metabolism and a junior faculty member at Washington University Medical School and Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. In 1974, he transferred to Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he is presently a Professor in the Departments of Medicine, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Molecular and Cellular Biology.

Silvio Inzucchi, MD

Endocrinologist
A native New Yorker, Dr. Inzucchi received his undergraduate degree from Fordham University in the Bronx and his M.D. degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his post-doctoral Fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Yale-New Haven Hospital, in New Haven, CT. He is currently Professor of Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, where he serves as Clinical Director of the Section of Endocrinology and Program Director of the Endocrinology & Metabolism Fellowship.

Allan Laurence Kennedy, MD, FRCP

Dr. Laurence Kennedy has been appointed as Chairman of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Department at Cleveland Clinic as of April 2009. Dr. Kennedy graduated from medical school at Queens University, Belfast, Northern Ireland, in 1972. He completed his medical residency and clinical endocrine training at the teaching hospitals in Belfast before coming to the US in 1978 as a research fellow in endocrinology at University of Florida, Gainesville.

Wendy Lane, MD

Wendy Lane, MD, graduated magna cum laude from Yale University in 1980 with degrees in biology and English literature. She then attended Dartmouth Medical School, and completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts (Harvard Medical School). After practicing internal medicine for 5 years in New Hampshire, she completed a fellowship in endocrinology and diabetes at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine (University of Vermont).
